Disgrifiad

Photo taken in 1967 from a helicopter above police headquarters in Bridgend. In the centre the Glamorgan Constabulary Driving School 'Skid Pan'. Used to teach police officers the skill of car control in correcting a loss of control and slide on a slippery surface. Photos also shows several dozen new Morris 1000 Panda cars delivered for the new Unit Beat Policing system. To the right....the Driving School and accommodation blocks. Bottom right is the edge of the former Royal Ordnance Factory (now Bridgend Industrial Estate).
